NICK SHIRLEY Independent Investigative Journalist

Nick Shirley has become one of the most recognizable young voices exposing government fraud, and he does it by going straight to the places where the problems are happening. His reporting on Minnesota daycare fraud and California waste has drawn national attention, uncovered more than $170 million in alleged abuse, and led to testimony before both the U.S. Senate and House. At just 23, he has already helped push Congress and federal agencies to take fraud more seriously. What makes his story so compelling is that he is not reporting from behind a desk. He is on the ground, asking the questions, confronting the people involved, and showing Americans where their tax dollars are really going.

SCOTT FITZPATRICK Missouri State Auditor

As Missouri State Auditor, Scott Fitzpatrick serves as Missouri’s taxpayer watchdog, working to expose fraud, waste, and abuse and ensure those who misuse taxpayer dollars are held accountable.

With government spending exploding in the wake of trillions in COVID-era federal funding, Scott has committed his office to following the money—scrutinizing how those dollars were spent and uncovering waste, misappropriation, and fraud.

For an evening focused on government accountability, Scott brings the perspective of the man whose job is to find out where the money went—and who is responsible when it goes missing.

DENNY HOSKINS Missouri Secretary of State

Denny Hoskins was elected Missouri’s 41st Secretary of State in 2024 after serving with distinction in both the Missouri Senate and the Missouri House of Representatives.

A fifth-generation Missourian, Hoskins grew up in central Missouri and graduated from Fatima High School in Westphalia. He went on to serve his country in the Missouri Army National Guard and became a Certified Public Accountant—experience that prepared him to follow the money, demand accountability, and recognize when the numbers simply do not add up.

As Secretary of state, his work is especially important for protecting elderly Missourians, who are frequently targeted by sophisticated scammers seeking to steal the savings they spent a lifetime building.

Whether he is safeguarding Missouri elections, defending investors, or exposing financial wrongdoing, Secretary Hoskins has established himself as a strong and experienced advocate for integrity, transparency, and accountability in government.

Hoskins and his wife, Michelle, live in Warrensburg with their five children and attend Northside Christian Church.
